Picked up one of these today
as I've been wanting to try out the fretless deal without breaking the bank. One question I have is, when setting up the neck, do you just set up flat with a little relief since your not prone to any of the issues as a fretted bass? Also, I was thinking about installing a different bridge on it. Any recomendations? Is the badass really badass or would something different (hipshot, gotoh, etc.) be a better choice? How bout pots, pups, tuners, nut? Is something different worth it or a waste of money? I will be sheilding the cavity soon and I already put flats on her. Thanks...
