New Bass (to me anyways)

So after some bartering and saving I have consolidated my collection of basses down to my 1975 Fender Precision Bass and this! It's a 2013 Fender AVRI 64' Jazz Bass in Lake Placid Blue with matching headstock. The previous owner swapped out the pickups for Fender Custom Shop 60's and they sound great!! Plays amazing as well!

sweet axe. love those '62 pickups. Congrats!

Awesome bass!
I had a 1987 AVRI Jazz in LPB, it was my fretted bass and went with my de-fretted 1983 AVRI Jazz in SB. At the time they were the only two Basses I owned.
I still have the fretless, and if my blue one had a matching headstock like your's, I might not have ever sold it. Of course, the original RI's were supposedly of a 62', and matching headstocks were not as big in 62' as they were in 64'.

Congrats! I had one exactly this and foolishly sold it. Now they are pretty hard to find even for 1.5 times what I had paid. I would love to get my hands on just the neck......

Nice Find! Looks Killer!
I wanted 1 of these a while Back, there were many avail on Ebay, I didnt like the strip though, Thought I would drill a hole for a wire if I got one, Luckily for that bass I went on to other projects!( i mistakenly bid on a JBS & won 2 instead of just 1, long story) 1st 1 I keep stock, hardly ever touch it, the 2nd gets modded& upgraded to the nth°,
Funny thing,I won a "Boner" bass, shortly after that, but It badly needed a refin, Found a guy to paint it, ended up with a Beautiful LPB bass! I'm currently staying away from ebay & reverb cuz I cant help myself, and must refrain from bidding until this covid mess gets straightened out! though the JBS' have cured my Jazz Gas for now!

The LPB Blue with the matching head face is an utter classic, and the ultimate argument FOR matching headstocks, it just looks SO right. I had not owned a 4-string bass since the late 80's, but I had to have the one pictured below, could not resist.

Obviously, you and I are both men of exceptional taste:

I've danced around adding the 'ashtrays', but haven't quite talked myself into it yet.
