hey guys - looking into a new bass. I currently use a fender jazz american, however, I play a style that is a big different. I am all about weird bar cords when finder picking and a lot of finger strumming. I need something with 24 frets and needs to be a nice low actions for those extreme stretches along with the string being a little closer than normal... I have been told my style is similar to Zach Smith with a more melodic tone with high ends but a decent low end. Can't really afford a Alembic like he plays. What do you guys suggest?
