New Basses for 2008?? Warwick, Ibanez...

Just noticed at a few online dealers in europe, they have some new for 2008 models on the way. Warwick are gonna make the 'vette $$ in a 6 string version (seriously tempted now!) Ibanez have updated their BTB line, the standard now being thru-neck, and a lovely walnut finish, mmm.

Anyone else got any news & pics to show??

Glad to see some activity in the 6-string (bass) world, but can't say I'm a fan of neck-through. While the neck-throughs would give better ergonomics on the high frets, I think it is possible for a bass to have too much sustain.

I've read some good arguments that the bolt-on, with its quicker decay (less sustain) is more percussive and, to some, works better for an instrument that plays a role similar to the drums.

FYI - +1 on the 19mm Ibanez spacing as an option. I love my SR 6-string spacing, but it would be good if Ibanez had something with (Fender) "standard" string-spacing as well.
