New bassist saying HI !

I've been playing bass for about a year now, and I thoroughly LOVE IT! I play an OLP MM3 (great starter bass for the money), and I'm ready to move up a level. Any advice for playing in general and basses in the $500-$750 range is appreciated. I live Orange County, CA, where I can find any guitar under the sun but basses are fairly limited. I'm currently considering the G&L L-2500 (I like a 5-string). My main style is worship (I play with the church worship team).

Looking forward to being an active member of the site!

For a five'r in that price range, take a look at the Ibanez sr505. The Bartolini electronics and pups sound great and can give alot of different tones. Personally I like the warmth of mahogany body (has a nice woody tone) and the feel of the neck. Some folks don't like the Ibbys but alot of others really do.
