New Beck - Is this you?

I was listening to the new Beck single - "Chemtrails" here: Link Removed and was wondering if you did this? If it wasn't you then they've certainly got your style down. Just curious.

BTW: I found it via http://www.thecurrent.org/ which is the best public radio station around. Between this station and emusic I always have something new to listen too. Do you have any emusic jems I oughta try?

That's Jason Falkner, playing me. :-) Actually, Jason is an INCREDIBLE bass player.

I'm not playing with Beck now, officially. He's putting a new band together for this tour.

I love Jason Falkner. I don't know if it was only him playing bass on Jellyfish's first album, but there's some awesome playing.

I was lucky enough to see one of the TV Eyes gigs at the Troubadour in '03. In a couple of songs Jason would play bass with his left hand and a synth with his right at the same time!

Along with Roger Manning (and Jon Brion), Jason is another huge inspiration for me on all instruments.

Shades of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band?

Sorry to hear that as I think Beck is losing something special by doing that. But OTOH, it's probably time for you to step out in a bigger way than Beck can give you, so all I can say is best of luck to both of you.
