New Bourns pots.......and I'm PO'ed!

Got 2 new mini 500K Bourns pots almost a month ago.....when they arrived I got so upset I shoved the whole bass project into the corner! Each pot has only ONE flat nut. To adjust the pot for proper height to attach knobs you need one nut under and one nut over the pickguard. Why on earth would they send only one adjustment nut with each pot? I've send off a complain to the place I bought em from. Last time I ran into this it took a 5 hour round trip to a guitar shop that could help me match up the right nut for the pot......I'm totally bummed! Bud

go to radio shack and buy 2 cheap pots or switches with the same size nuts. that the simplest solution i can think of.

This problem is not unique to Bourns pots. I've been complaining about this for years with most pots.

Whenever you order pots, you have to make sure to also order an appropriate number of extra nuts.

"Alpha" brand pots (like what stewmac offers) always have 2 nuts and 2 washers.
