Yikes! Heavy!
If I could scrounge up the dough I'd love to have a 5-string P bass made with block inlays that's nice and lightweight, probably with a J pup in the bridge.
If i used swamp ash it could have been a bit lighter, also the wenge neck adds weight. the ratio between the two is why I chose Northern ash for the body as not to have neck dive. I will charge for blocks, If I do them I do them well, but I don't like doing it. But I love the way it looks. a P with Blocks? i might have to say no just on principal...jk
