Very nice and very classy looking set-up!! How do you like the sound of the SL115 cab on its own?
I'm assuming your 4x10 is 8 Ohm? I assume the cabs sound even and blend well together? This was such a classic and standard setup from the 90's until recently when a move to matched 12's or matched 10's became more flavor of the month. I'm glad to see the 4x10 on a 15 isn't dead! I think part of the reasoning is the weight of those old stacks and the move to smaller NEO boxes with single 12's etc. As a former 4x10 1x15 guy myself i have to ask if the 15 gets a bit overpowered. I remember my SWR son of bertha 15 would lag and sometimes fart out keeping up with the SWR Goliath III. I know those are ceramic drivers and a different brand and era of construction all together but that was my impression when I pushed that rig
you think they will make an SL 2x10? I got a cryptic yet positive response from Dave when I commented on a page about not getting an additional SL12 to go with my SL212 until an SL 2x10 comes out......speaking tongue in cheek. But his response was. "Hmmmmmmm." Maybe you know more lol.8 ohm, yes. Everything is even. One cabinet doesn’t overpower the other. I was on the stacked 12 kick for awhile also. But 10’s in a 15 is what i like. I’d like to downgrade the 410 to a 210 once Aguilar makes one in the SL line. The weight of the 115 is amazing, 34 pounds.

Nice looking set up man! I wrote Aguilar a couple of weeks ago asking about a SL 210. Here is Dave’s reply...
We have experimented with a 2x10 design in the SL line, and will revisit the design soon. However, there are no plans for it to be on the market in the next six months or so.
The Sl 410x pairs great with the SL 115; but I understand that may be too much. Although….. how much is too much, really? J

But at least you know you have your basses covered until they do.
Sweet set up. 410 and 15 do sound the best.

Hi, fellow Seattle-ite! I was just wondering how you felt about your SL115 now that you've had it a little while. I bought one that arrives on Thursday to go with a new TH700. If it sounds good, my plan is to add a second SL115. I play southern fried blues, kicked up country and Americana with a PBass/flats.Just bought the 115 myself, and I think it’s gonna be perfect for my tube amp country setup. Front ported full range speaker, no tweeter, very well behaved lows. I also tried the 4x10 + 115 and it sounded loud and epic (even with my 50w head), tho more rig than I’m looking for. Didn’t love the 410 by itself, but I might be the first person to buy an sl 210 if they ever make one. Felt super smug (but kinda poor!) when I marched out of the music store with a 115 in one hand.
Not much time to play with it yet, but I’m happy enough to be thinking about adding a second myself. I’m no speaker expert but it seems like a good match for my little tube amp. I really want highs and upper mids to be smooth and naturally tamed, which I feel this does better than lots of tweeter/crossover equipped boxes do. Not boomy at all, very well behaved even when brand new. Loads of bottom there for the taking. I’m pretty sure you’re gonna be happy—except when you look at your bank balance.Hi, fellow Seattle-ite!
