New Cab Day With Ampeg SVT 212av

This Ampeg SVT 212av has been a long time coming. Been using an Avatar b212 with this amp for a number of years. I didn’t know if the Ampeg would make a real difference so I held off on making the leap. Finally pulled the trigger and this rig now sounds complete to my ears. It’s got that SVT chest punch bass tone that you can feel that the Avatar doesn’t. Nothing wrong with the Avatar. It was a huge bang for the bucks but the Ampeg has more “there!” there. I can’t wait for the next practice.
