new cab rattles just with G on the e string

I had 2 avatar cabs with a 15" speaker that the back buzzed. I took a piece of 1"x 1" the width of the cab and used Wood Glue and screws to hold it to the back just under the cutout for the Jack panel in back. Fixed my problem. I made sure it fit slightly tight to the sides and glued the ends to the side panels then shot a screw at an angle at the ends to secure it to the sides.

In certain rooms I found it made the bi-folding hollow core closet doors buzz loudly.
As others said, insure the speaker screws are tight and the voice coil is not the culprit.

That frequency has a wavelength of about 22.5 feet. If you room has dimensions between walls of 11.25, 22.5, or 33.75 (ish), it could simply be room dimensions. Or it could be wall vibrations.
