New Deep Purple Songs

Deep Purple has a new album coming out July 19th.

Here are 3 songs they released as singles.

I got to say, I fallen out with classic rock alot.

But Deep Purple old albums always keep me listening, their covers are pretty damn good IMO. Plus the bass in most of their songs is easy to play to me!

And these songs song damn good too, some nice loud bass!

Sounds close to classic Purple, but who is the guitarist? I got 3 glimpses of the guitarist's face (finally - in the 3rd video) and it doesn't look like Steve Morse from Dixie Dregs anymore. Morse was their longtime guitarist after Blackmore and Bolin (and Satriani). Anyone know?

I was never a big Deep Purple fan, but this is not bad. "Pictures of You" is my favorite of this batch.

And the guitarist is Simon McBride according to the DP web site.

I saw Deep Purple live two summers ago, not too long after Morse announced his departure, and in my opinion McBride was totally up to the task. The band still sounds awesome live and their latest albums aren't bad at all (especially Whoosh!).

I saw them in concert last summer in Graz, Austria. I took my daughter and her boyfriend. It was a great show. We really enjoyed it, and the new songs too.
