I think that bleach blonde maple board makes it all work!
And me who thought blue LEDs on pedals was the apex of what is too grating on the vision....
I would love them to, instead, making a "Jackson Pollock" finish out of it. You know those "drip" paintings...

I had a friend who had a pink ESP fiver, neck headstock and body. I borrowed it occasionally and the ladies loved it.
Nothing wrong with a pink bass. That one reminds me of a pink and black swirl painted Ibanez GEM that i'm pretty sure i saw Steve Vai playing.

You'll be hooked on Dingwalls if you go down this road. I haven't played a combustion or NG yet, but I would expect nothing but excellence from Dingwall.
I wouldn't ever expect to recoup the price of a brand new bass on the used market. I can say that the four used Dingwall I've had come and go, they were all stellar basses, and each recouped my investment.
So, I'm hunting a deal on a used NG-2 or3 four string. Right now, I think the prices on used NG's are on the high side, reflecting how new they are to the market and how rare on the used market. I saw a used Canadian built AB-1 four string go for less than the NG's are asking.
I like the swirls, but I'd prefer a solid color. The red, blue, white and black would work. But a deal is a deal, so we'll see what happens.
My current Dingwall, a glossy black Super P 4, is a keeper. 7.5 lb.
The NG's have the Darkglass tone capsule for the full active experience as well as a passive mode.
Sheldon's gold matte five string D bird took best of show award at NAMM.

Dingwalls Kill, and they are one of the best basses I have played.
