New dog learning old tricks..

Just found this forum last week, and I am already addicted.

I just started playing bass about 6 months ago, after playing guitar for a couple years, and I feel I've found my home.
Playing rhythm guitar, I always felt like I was just following along, and not really learning much. I felt immediately more comfortable with a bass.
Now I've started to learn some theory- I spend a lot of time at StudyBass.com (that guy is great!)....and on youtube.

I've played 3 or 4 live gigs, and have done fairly well so far, but I am now actively looking for a teacher so I can eventually become a 'real' bass player...

Anyway, this seems like a great community to be a part of...
