I called my late rednose "Spud", after Spud Webb, the 5' 7" former NBA guard who won the slam dunk competition once. I named my dog that because, like Webb, he was short, brown and jumped really high, as most pits can do.

So, call him "Spud".

If not Spud, then call him "Six foot fence", "Sixer" for short.
