New Eden e300 & 4x10 cab not working!!

Bought it Thursday new and next day no sound.Power is on head but nothing from cab.Tried new speaker,power and guitar leads no joy.Fuses look fine,I have a passive jazz.Music shop have a new head coming and are very good with sorting the issue out but I'm gutted...what the hell is wrong with it?

Test the cabinet with a 9V battery connected to the tip and sleeve of the speaker cable. The cabinet should produce a hearty clunk.

Do you have a passive or active bass? If active, could you have a dead battery?

Don't have the proper headphone jack here or 9volt battery.

He wrote that the fuse looked good.
But I also thought about the fuse.
Do you get any other light than from the main switch?

If you bought it new on Thursday, a trip back to the dealers is what I'd be doing.

And now she's working,moved into a new house last year and the locals told me this morning that the area experiences 10-15 second power cuts every week!!But I have a new one coming just to rule out any amp issues

Have you heard of anyone having trouble with the e300 bassman?I can't find any bad press anywhere which is comforting

Nope, even on our Eden forum I haven't heard anything bad and that is the place were people when they got a problem.
I guess it is a very good amp!
