New ESP Bass For Me!

I thought it was Bubinga at first, but now I'm not sure. I admit though, that I am not very familiar with the variations in pattern and color that can occur within any particular type of wood. Thanks for your input.

Alright! I picked my bass up yesterday and it is awesome! I had it defretted by Elderly Instruments and the technician, Scott, did a wonderful job. It turned out much better than I had expected and it cost less than the original quote! :hyper: I am very excited to have it back and I just can't get over how nice this bass feels and sounds. Scott pulled the frets and filled the slots with maple strips and IMO, the inlay work looks and feels better than some factory fretless 'boards I have seen. Anyway, I'll have a few pics up later. I'm going to play now.
