I've heard that Fender has made "exotic" type basses.
The 22 fret neck is classic Fender though.
You would think if Fender made a bass such as the one posted they could at least add two more frets.
Nice bass though, I would like check it out.

Looks similar (woods, Pickups) to a 6 string fretless Fender CS I played when I was on the tour of the Fender Plants in Cali & Mexico.
