Double Bass New from Acoustic Image at NAMM

It's just hard to decide whether I just want to go with the Pre Amp, Amp, or the full tilt Flex. So many choices.

Ric

I'm thinking, man this head is so lite, with such a flexible DI, I can treat it like a stand alone preamp as well. Obviously, the Clarus is a lot more expensive than the Flex but I need the head anyway.

After sending my iAmp to Gary for two weeks, I realize how important it is to have a backup head. We'll see how that shakes out for me. I'll post something once I get a chance to play with this thing.

Thanks for the info Mark. So, you could use the sends to separate DI boxes to give to front of house?

Right.

Here's the pertinent info from the (Series 4) manual:
The send output is affected by the input volume and tone controls and can also be used as a preamp output for driving other power amplifiers. The Return input can be used to directly connect an external preamp to the unit’s power amp... Because the effects loop is a parallel type, plugging something into the send output does not interrupt the signal path. So, a tuner (or a send to the mixing board - Mark) can be plugged into the send output without affecting the signal going through the amp.
