new from Spain

hi, my name is Albert. I am 44. I've been playing since I was 16 and teaching since I was 22. I studied in Barcelona and Berklee. I live in Madrid and play mostly with songwriters and doing flamenco and flamenco-jazz gigs, and some rock. played in couple of movie soundtracks and done a bunch of CD's for other people.

this is my youtube channel Albert Anguela
I normally post improvisations on bass 70-80% aided with my loop station. sometimes their are prepared, sometimes I just turn on the camera and see what happens

I am a little overwhelmed for the size of this forum, so I'll be exploring it step by step

normally people tell about the equipment so my basses are:

Ken Smith burner '92 4 strings
Fender Precision '68 fretless. (quite modified)
Yamaha TRB5
Marleux Consat 5 fretless 5 string
Kawaii F-II-B
Cort Rhithimic (the Jeff Berlin one)
a really good copy of a custom shop P'52
a Talmus (it was a spanish brand, my very first bass)
and what I call a Spanish bass guitar, which is an acoustic build as a classical guitar with silk core strings, which sounds really loud and nice compared to regular "acustic" basses

some pedals, and an old amp which I try to use as little as possible because I normally use whatever is in the gig (stage monitors or the amp there) and go straight to PA

I hope not to mess too much around the forum until I understand the rules here.

glad to be here
