New Gibson EB bass

Sure does look like a Mosrite. Though it no doubt is built, sounds and plays better than the vintage Mosrite basses.

EB has always meant Electric Bass
EB-0, EB-1, EB-2 .....

Good point. Other than that, I don't see anything wrong with it. To me, Gibson has always been a guitar company that occasionally makes a bass - which is usually a copy of one of their guitars.

But this looks like a solid, affordable instrument. Maybe it plays and sounds great.

Humorously, Sweetwater shows it in Black, White, and Natural. No Red, though - sorry!
