New Gretsch Junior Jet Bass

I caught this on the Gretsch site today.

New Model? Rereleased old model? New colours?

Very much loving the green.

I think it's just a new color. The specs for this and the G2220 Junior Jet are exactly the same. And, I see it listed under both model numbers - depending on where you look. I've been a Gretsch owner for a while, and truthfully? This is a bad time of year to be looking at Gretsch's home page. They've always been notoriously slow in updating it; there are errors; and it usually doesn't get sorted until a month or so after the NAMM Show - which is this coming weekend, I think. IIRC, at one time Gretsch made 2 models of the Junior Jet; a single pick up version (which again IIRC, was the model G2220) and a 2 pick up version - the G2224? The single p/u version got dropped pretty quickly, and the current version - whatever the number is supposed to be - is the only Junior Jet available. If I had to bet? Just a new color... the green is nice, though, and a Junior Jet is a pretty nice little bass...
