Hi, i am looking for new bass guitar and want some advice and opinions. I have a budget of £120.Also could anyone recommend a good sheet music site.

I think you might find that budget a bit constricting but there are loads of basses you can get for under that such as Squier Affinity basses which are replicas of Fender Jazzes or Precisions. These are alright and playable basses.

The only problem is that at this price you aren't going to get a very good bass. If you getting a cheap bass to just see if you like it then by all means buy something for this price, but if you are interested in slightly better bass try Ibanez basses or the Squier vintage modified series. These will run you about £200 but are better quality than almost anything you can get for £120.

I would despite that recommend looking at 2nd hand basses. You never know, you might get a real bargain!

For you, used is the way to go. You can find good Squiers and older basses for low prices.
As was stated, you never know.
Squier's though, are your safest bet. As you go ,you can add real Fender parts, etc.
