Hey, what's up everyone. I think I may have registered here around 15 yrs ago? Has this forum been around that long? Anyway, my normal user name was taken already and I figure it was probably me, just couldn't associate it with a current email address.
So this is my third go around with the bass. I took it up 15 yrs ago at age 53 when I was able to retire early and played around with it for a while until deciding on 6 string guitar.
Then took it up again about 7 or 8 yrs ago after watching a Geddy Lee documentary, but that never really took off. Now this time after watching a video my brother sent me by Tokyo Groove Jyoshi...something about the way that chick was playing just perked my interest.
Anyway, I've now just purchased a SUB Ray4 for starters. And of course since I usually end up dicking around with my guitars more than playing them, I've got a Delano MC4 and East MMSR on the way from bestbassgear. And I just bought that Peavey Forum from the classifieds here for a little variety and knowing me that won't be the last. Anyway, I'm serious this time so hopefully I'll stick around here and learn something.
