I picked up a bass for the first time with no prior musical training last April, so it's been just a smidge over a year for me. Great fun, isn't it?

I only have 4 basses, though. I'm GASing pretty hard for #5, though (Ray34 black ash), but we'll see.

However, I am up to 11 pedals, not counting tuners.

Only one pedal here so far...see I have the ability to control myself lol

Out of curiosity, what basses do you have? I somehow get the feeling you were fairly selective and didn’t just go out and buy on a whim.

I posted pics somewhere in here but

2019 Sterling MM Sub Series Sting Ray (The inexpensive and first one that started this all)
2015 Fender American Standard Jazz
2020 Gibson LP Junior Tribute DC
1996 G&L LB-100
2014 Gibson SG Standard 120th Anniversary
1986 G&L SB-1
1981 G&L L-1000 "Wunkay"

and for good measure a mint condition 2014 Gibson LP Studio 120th Anniversary Guitar (Probably for sale very soon)

Want to take bass collecting/ hunting to the next level, consider building/assembling one! Give Warmoth, MJT, Stratosphere, etc a gander. Many people here have the unique strain of gas: building “parts basses,” and many have put together some very fine instruments. It’s fun, you get to customize, you learn a lot about the bass and how to maintain it, and it’s unique to you. Here are all my basses, all assembled from parts, all sound and feel excellent
