Boogie - how much sun has that seen? the padauk body on my fretted 6 is almost exactly the same color as it was when I got it four years ago. The room I keep it in never gets any direct sunlight though.

It's been outside on a few gigs but mostly used indoors. It sits on a stand about half the time at home, the rest of the time in its case. I'm actually quite surprised at the amount of change but Pete seemed rather nonplussed by it, expressing that this type of wood typically changes quite a bit. This bass has been gigged a lot so I dunno...

I've gotta say, I think that the padauk on Boogie's bass looks much better now than it did when it was first made.
