Do you play bass specifically, or a number of instruments? Just a suggestion…as you’re from your particular area, you should do an overview on Bill Nelson; he’s just kind of slipped away, but what a body of work.

@rubyjones01 thank you for sharing this. I always revered Herbie's playing on so many of the records that I still enjoy today. I'll be watching this later with my wife as she also enjoys videos of musicians both famous and sometimes obscure.

It's sad that we're having to say goodbye to too many of these great players nowadays.

It's sad that we're having to say goodbye to too many of these great players nowadays.

Although he was a bit ahead of the curve, which meant that he was earlier in line, there was that great generational explosion, which produced more musicians, and that then means more instances of them falling as they are entering the final phase in the cycle.
