Hey there, New to this site and new to the bass. Been playin for 3 months. 3 months before that i was learning Guitar. Triied the bass and haven't looked back. I do tinker around abit with the 6 strings. Any suggestions about equipment?? 4 or 5 strings? Amps?? Songs to play?? In to any suggestions? See ya around.

I can't tell you anything about gear I'm afraid. As far as tunes go I downloaded the tab for Cake's version of I Will Survive today (a simple google search should do it). It's simple but it's a lot of fun. A good place to start. Grab the mp3 as well, theres nothing like hearing a tune to help you play it.
