I would like to start off by apologising to Paul for not reply to his welcome message, very rude of me; I had nothing at that time to post as I couldn’t remember what equipment I owned. Doh !!!
For the record, I’m not a bass player but picked one up back in the 80’s only to discover that my misshapen fingers couldn’t navigate the fretboard. To cut a long story short I’m now retired so I thought that it was time I got the bass and amp out of the loft, even if it was just to find out what was up there. It turns out that I have an old Epiphone Rivoli and a Vox AC50 with a bass cab (sorely in need of some TLC). I’m currently in the process of forcing my fingers to do what comes unnaturally in an attempt to minimise the chronic fret buzz. I’ll keep you posted on my progress if it’s of any interest.
I doubt that I’ll be a regular contributor but I certainly find the posts make interesting reading. Keep up the good work.
