New La Bella flats

First time diving into the flat wound arena.

I sort of blindly ordered a set of La Bella 760FS. My Sweetwater invoice says Std.

So these are the 37 1/4" wound length I believe.

Are these going to work on my 2014 American Standard P Bass?

I know I have to string them through the bridge and NOT the body. That was the first thing I read on the package and was kind of shocked, but not a big deal since my bridge goes 'both ways'.

I'm just concerned about the length. I think I'm good to go though, but would appreciate the some expert input from you all before I get down to changing them in case I would be better off exchanging them with Sweetwater.

If the winding isn’t long enough to run them through the body I’d just run them through the bridge. Switching to flats is probably going to have a bigger impact on sound than the difference of going through body or not.
