Here’s a modification of an old PJB Suitcase that I got in a trade for a big powerful 2x12 that wasn’t really needed anymore. The issue was what to do with an Aguilar TH700 and's its 4ohm 700 watt capabilities that I rarely need but am glad to have.
The internal speaker wires have be disconnected and wired to a Speakon input. A cable is required to use it as a 4x5 combo. Two cables are required at the input and output of the extension cabinet to use the stack with the internal amp or other heads.
It works great, has a lot of flexibility and yeah, I know all about being overpriced, overweight and underpowered so this little mess is right at home.
