new lollar blade style jazz bass pickups

Hi
Has anyone tried the Lollar blade style jazz bass pickups. I have the original recipe lollar single coil jazz pickups and love them on a fretted bass.I am looking at the blade style for a fretless warmoth. Here is a video sample from the company.


Look to hear anyones experience with these.

wish i could help, but no experience!

i've used a cheaper version of the same idea (blade pickups for Js, found on ebay) --- i sure liked the idea but decided to re-do the ax with some mods, and among them: a return to an active system for that ax.

that said, i have another j-bass to assemble so i'd be interested in what others have to say about the lollars. i'll be checking in to see if you or others can comment on their efficacy.

I went with the blades and also added a lusithand lo pass filter instead of a tone knob so I will report back both… thanks for your input!

My jbass has a 7.25 radius, so a flat blade is no fun.
