I've played the bass on and off for many years in different settings, but I recently became a more active player as I joined two bands.
One is a cover band, we play the "undying rock hits" (everything from Elvis to Muse) at misc parties. We don't have a very fixed set of members or regular rehesrals, we usually just get the guys together when someone needs us.
The other is more serious as we play our own songs. We have still only had one gig (a five song warmup for the Swedish artist "John ME"), but we'll do more as soon as we have completed more songs. You can listen to some of our material at Link Removed
I play a Fender Highway One P-bass (2007) through a Warwick CCL 2x10 combo
