I've have played tenor and bass trombone and acoustic and MIDI accordion for many years. Limited playing opportunities on bass trombone, so I decided to take up electric bass after several years of thinking about it. Looking forward to getting into some different styles of music.

Started out about a year ago on a PBC Semi-Hollowbody 4 string. I like the valve register of the bass trombone (Jazz Band 4th Trombone) and so decided to get a 6 string. Now practice, practice, practice....
:hyper:

Was fortunate enough to find out about Todd Johnson's Technique Builders video (thanks to TalkBass) and so am getting off on the right track on the 6 string.

Who knows....I may learn enough to play out before I'm carted off to the rest home.

Thanks for all that take time to post questions and replies and those that are supporting members.
