Hey everyone. I have played guitar for about 17 years now and while I have owned a couple basses over the years, I always ended up selling them to fund guitar gear. I've only considered myself a "bassist" for about a year when I started playing bass seriously in a band. I have since acquired two basses that I plan to keep and couldn't imagine not having a bass now.

I'm playing through a Fender Rumble 500.

Is there some foam under all that chrome?

Flats and foam was the sound I wanted.

Welcome to our World.

No foam. And I'm currently using half round strings on the J (was using flats but needed a little more punch) and rounds on the P (although I may switch to half rounds next time I restring it). Love the sound of flats but my band is rock & roll/punk so they just couldn't keep up.
