Hello everybody, im a 16 year old from New york and have been playing bass for about 8 months. I always wanted to start earlier but never got around to it. Once i began to play, i loved everything about the bass - its sound, its driving role in a band, and the groove - that one of my biggest regrets is not learning sooner. Once i was proficient enough to play with others, me and my buddies started a ska band, and nothing makes me happier than playing in a group. I stumbled across this forum on the internet, and after reading some threads i became hooked. knowledge practically seeps out of this site, and ive learned a lot in a very short period of time.
