New member!

Hi all,

I've been browsing the forum for a little while now and thought it was time to join!

Been playing bass for around 25 years (self taught) as a hobby and in various bands over that time.

For most of that time I've been playing an Ibanez TR2 through a 250 watt Laney combo. However in the last few months I've treated myself to some new equipment.
Bought a Bugera Veyron Mosfet head (BV1001M) and a Bugera 210 cab. Currently considering beefing this up with the Bugera 115 as well.
And I've also very recently got an Epiphone Thunderbird (Classic IV with the Gibson pick ups). Always loved the Thunderbird so to get a through neck with Gibson pick ups at a fraction of the price was a no brainer!

Also looking to add some variation and flexibility with a pedal or two. Possibly a distortion / overdrive and an octaver. Nothing dramatic, just to change or boost the sound every once in a while.

Musical influences range from punk, hardcore, metal, rock to country.

Thanks for reading, I'll be sure to join some other threads shortly.

Cheers,

Dave

You end up getting the 15. I have the same exact set up .But I'm getting some humming feedback with my ibanez sr505 hooked up in certain positions its pretty bad. But if I hook my acoustic up no noise. My ibamez is passive pick ups but run like active I guess.

Just picked up the 15. Watched it reduce to almost half price on Amazon over the space of a week so couldn't resist really!

Only played it at low volume in the house so far and like the low end that it adds. Will play it in anger at practice next week so will let you know how it sounds!

Agree with the sentiment in front of your amp by the way!
