^Don't know exactly, so this is just a guess, but it's probably just a low power tube power amp between the tube pre and a SS (class D?) power amp.
Think of it like a tube amp DI'ed (from the speaker out) to a "PA" amp.
Been done several times before, but as the only consumer group for such an amp is the minority of bassplayers who want THE REAL TUBE TONE, but without the weight, none of the approaches have been a commercial success. Since the majority of tube sound, or texture would perhaps be more accurate, comes from the output stage, there's an output stage that's further amplified with SS technology to reach desired SPL.
Other possibility would be to have an SS amp crossed over below 80-100 Hz, and a tube amp over that to gain the best of both worlds.
