My wife and I have been wanting one of these for years, and I finally pulled the trigger. She does most of the mowing so it will be sitting in the garage as a surprise when she gets home from work and opens the garage door. Yay!!

Ugh that sucks. I've been using a hand-me-down riding mower my dad gave me that's about 20 years old, that I started using after my 25 year old cheapo TSC mower finally died a few years back. Dad's mower hardly starts anymore, and yet the pump the tires of every time you want to cut the grass! This is something we have looked forward to for a long time!
My wife loves to mow (I hate it) so she will be thrilled! I'm looking forward to a few "sweet nothings" tonight!!
I could see myself enjoying that ride. Maybe next year? I have to admit that the "Push Hog" (as I termed it) has been able to tackle 4' walls of saplings and overgrowth in small bites with no problem. It's been a good sacrificial tool for locating all sorts of hidden boulders and forgotten farm equipment that would have given me an ulcer if I was grinding it up with an expensive machine!

Well she loves it, she was using it when I got home from work, grinning from ear to ear and acting like a little girl at Christmas.... said she wants to mow again tomorrow...
I was pretty impressed that she got it running and cutting grass all by herself. Of course, she used to fire up dad's old mower with starting fluid and air the tires herself. I love me my self-sufficient woman....
Haha, I see what you're saying, but she genuinely loved it. After she was done last night she went on and on gleefully describing how she zoomed around the yard. Rode that thing till after dark she did!

I could really use one of those myself. I have 4 acres and a horse path about 500 yards long wide enough for my truck to drive on to cut. It takes me every bit of 3 2 hours 45 min and a fill-up to get it done on my fegular 54" cut Craftsman. Bit I'm way too cheap to get a nice one.
It won't be an issue when my girls are old enough to drive it though.
