New Musicman Cutlass and Caprice

I feel like musicman has really upped their game lately in the guitar world and the artist world has taken note (St Vincent, Omar Rodriguez, and others). The St Vincent model is bonkers, and I have friends who swear by the Valentine model.

Are you in a place where you can give any honest feedback on the cutlass and caprice bass models? I have yet to get one in hand. I felt like they've always made great well playing instruments but aesthetically and sonically they have never been my thing. These two models make me curious and I'd like to solicit your and any other like tone minded individuals opinions.

I'd frankly love to try one. I agree - aesthetics are not my vibe even on these new models. But still, the demos have a certain tone that sounds pretty rad.
