New online string store: thef-hole.com

I recently came across a new online string store - the f-hole, thef-hole.com - and just received my first order...

I went a little crazy with this order as they have 10% off your first order, free shipping, and they don't collect sales tax for WA state (maybe other states too). In addition to having all the brands I wanted and having good prices, I also had a fun email conversation with the founder Ben Richey. He tells me he is based "in Michigan, north of the GHS factory and near to Fred Kelly Picks".

I have no connection to this business other than being a customer. I highly recommended them.

I am not affiliated with thef-hole.com, but I also had a good experience recently.

I live in Traverse City where thef-hole.com is based out of. I recently took advantage of the 10% off your first order deal, myself. A few minutes later I got an email from the owner saying he was planning on going for a bike ride soon and he could deliver the strings to my front door for no charge. I got my strings about an hour after I ordered them, on a Sunday, no less! 5 stars!

Like the OP, I was also buying Nickel Lo-Riders, 45-105. A damn good string.

Seems like they do have a nice selection of strings, although the pricing at least on GHS and Dunlop are nothing different than I can get from other retailers.

I'm almost a year late to this party, but I just ordered strings from them, shipped same day, showed up a couple of days later. Called to ask for advice and he was super helpful with strings and picks. I really like this place -- I think it's a pretty small operation, but they punch above their weight for service and selection.
