This will be my second time visiting NO and I'd like to visit some of the rawer places rather than the places in French Quarter.
Definitely no cover band, smooth jazz band (no offense, it's just that I have plenty of them in my city). I still want to hear the kind of jazz that represents NO sound. I know this sounds vague so I guess that's why I came up with no smooth jazz, no cover, and maybe no avant-garde jazz.
Also, the venue has to be large enough for a big party (25people) including minors. (high school students)
Any suggestions?
