I specify P bass, so those who aren't particularly interested in P basses can skip over the post.

1989 Fender USA 62 RI

Well, I got rid of my Rick 4004L (sorry Rick club) and I picked this up instead. I'd been after one for a long time. It needs a bit of a setup, but so far I really like it. The neck is amazing, even for how wide it is. I'm really enjoying it, so far.

No, that is the Original one.

Its an 1989 AVRI, they used old leftover parts from Fullerton.
Your pots may dated with 1982, the Fender logo has also the "wrong" position.
It has also not an correct slabboard (too straight cut), the body contours are also not "correct".
But thats how they made them at the time in Corona.
