New PA is in and.....

Checking back in after a couple more gigs on the new system. We've been able to tweak a couple of our settings for the different instruments and have it sounding really good. Love being able to mix FOH and monitors from the iPad and this system gets loud without even breaking a sweat! The QSC really brings it.

Oh yeah! I did 200 people tonight with a pair of K12's, no need for subs this gig. They were loafing and projecting low 100 db at the center of the room. Hot for my taste but it 's what was appropriate give the act. Crowd loved it. Promoter was gushing... It didn't hurt that I used an OM-6 on the vocalist and my 16.4.2 and spent time ringing out the system.

Checking back in a after a few more gigs under our belt with the QSC. Everything has been going great with the system. We have a monthly gig in some of the clubs around here so being able to save settings has been a huge bonus. Just set up, get into the memory banks and bring up the venue we're in and it's as easy as that. The only change we're in the midst of is our drummer is replacing his old JBL wedge with a K-12. We have zero complaints! Plenty of volume, handles the low end like a champ and has plenty of punch up top. The mixer is so user friendly too...easy to get some great sounds out of it quickly. My advice, don't skimp on your PA!! :bassist::hyper:

I am jealous. Somehow, every gig I get a completely different level from the lead singer. So I generally don't even know where to start :atoz:

I remember what that used to feel like. :D :whistle: We're always doing tweaks here and there but for the most part we have a great foundation to build from and it doesn't take that much effort. Makes me a happy camper!
