QSC for the win. Even Batman approves! Lol. After kicking around JBL, the Carvin TRC series and a couple of other different systems we went all QSC, the mixer too. Thanks to @Bob Lee (QSC) for the help and we'll be setting this rig up for 2 nights next week to get everything figured out and dialed in before we go gigging with it. I'll try and update as we move along if anyone is interested.

Yes. I'll probably have it on my iPad or the guitar player will put it on his. Our old mixer was whatever the line 6 version was with the same type of features so we were spoiled with the mobile/iPad mixing and knew we'd need that again!

In my system (up to 4 k12's on 4 kw-181's) I like to cut hard at 40 and I pull some out between 40 and 50 hz as well. That tightens up the 181's which can be a little tubby left flat. I also boost a couple of db at a scootch over 100 (105, 108.. somewhere in there and that addesses a slight dip at the xover point. We used the version of SMAART that came along with our Presonus boards. and saw that. The lower end was just by ear

Nice! I think an HPF on subs is a must. There's very little usable content below that.

New system sounded great last night for just using preset sounds for everything. One slight letdown is the mounting poles and brackets used for the mains. The holes aren't very deep so the speakers are pretty wobbly on the poles. Other than thst it's all good. We'll be playing an outdoor venue tonight so we should be able to open it up a little more. I'll report back with more later.

Hey gang. Here is one side of the stage. Even though we're running split subs etc the sound was still amazing! We've got some regular band fans who always show and they all agreed we sounded the best we ever have! Those subs do the kick some justice too!
