New Pick Guard update

Like it or hate it, DBTOYS and I were of the same thought process when I got my Limited Edition '57 Reissue Strat a couple years ago. It was white/maple with a 1-ply white guard. I put a Mint Green guard on it, too. Sorry to show a (gasp!!!) guitar in a bass thread, but it's just for the color combo...

ok so I like the strat but the stingray just doesnt look right id go tort on white you cant beat the classy look of tort on white.

I agree.

The mint looks good on the Strat, not at all on the Stingray.

Part of the problem for me is the three different mismatching shades of white from the body, pickguard and pickup.

I'm not normally a fan or tort, but in this case, a tort pickguard would look amazing with the white body and tinted Birdseye Maple neck.

And FWIW, get that damn ashtray off the bridge and put the bar on!:hyper:
