The new MIM stock pickups' pole pieces are staggered like that, so they might be stock.

I'm wondering more about the bridge saddles in the 'After' photos...

Yeah. They're My stock Pickups.
Also, the saddlepieces on the bridge are fine too. i know they dont look right, but man, do they sound right.

Its not really that red. the flash just makes it brighter. =-\ But yes, i do agree. it looks great.
Im thinking of covers, but i dont really feel like drilling into my bass. also, if i get a bridge cover, ill have to downgrade to a non-badass II. =\

+1 I'm not much for red but your new pick guard makes
your bass look like someone owns and loves it. The white
is way to guitar store fresh! Nice choice!
