Very nice!! I'd have to agree with some of the posts here in that you really should make your own neck. With a well equipped shop like that it'll be child's play. BTW, one of the most useful handtools for woodworking is a spokeshave. They're great for shaping necks and body contours.

Here is what happened Yesterday...
Electronics Cavity Cleaned up.
Pickup Cavity Routed
And Drilled out the Holes for Knobs, TRS Jack and XLR jack as well.
Carving out the left over wood for Pickup wiring.
Starting out with a neck.
All parts for the neck have been ordered and will be in tomorrow. A little more planning a prepping and I should be ready to start it out on Wed..
Looking to have this done by Friday.

Wow, that's a coincidence. I just got an EQ02 5K to drop into my fretless, except that it won't quite fit the control cavity and the cavity will also need to be enlarged if I want to put the bass filter stack knobs where I want to put them.
My bass has currently got a separate battery cavity and control cavity, and I've already worked out that if I route out the cavities and join the two, I will get what I want. As I saw the work on your control cavity I thought "mmm that's what mine will look like when I join the two cavities together', then to find out that it's driven by the need for EQ02 fitment....
Yeah those preamps are 90MM or roughly 3 1/2 inches long and about 25 MM wide. You REALLY need the space for them. I Figured that if two of these EQ-02 pre's are going to be housed in the cavity you need massive room.
what kind of Pickups are you going to run??

Alan and John of ACG and John East teamed up to build me a pre-amp that involves two ACG EQ-02 to work as one single unit. Each pre-amp will have full control of a single pickup for both treble and bass with high pass and low pass filters for each pickup. Talked to Kent Armstrong and he will be custom winding me up my pickups with four coils per pickup. I cannot wait to get those in. 
At a guess, as someone who is also installing an EQO2 system (singular), the stack nearest the neck will be volume and balance, The standard EQ02 has a stack for bass filter cutoff and resonance and another stack for treble, so I'd reckon that ther are two sets of bass and treble stacks - one full set of eq controls per pup
Yup that's correct. The systems that are being used are the EQ-02 K/S. Let me know how your install comes out and if you have any clips let us know as well.

Sure will. It's going in this Patrick Eggle Milan V that I had defretted around 7 years ago
Currently has active EMG's (40P5 and 40J), but has passive V/V/T controls.
I'll have to be patient though, as you know the preamps are quite pricey, so I want to make sure the install is first class and to do that I'll need to replace a worn out router after I get back from a two week business trip. It'll be the end of November before this is done
But I won't hijack your thread any further...I'll post pics and clips when it's done

This is where we stand at the moment. Temporary screws hold the neck in place until the order comes in.
Shaller M4S Machine heads fitted as well.

you sure made quick work of that neck. why do you say it might have to be redone? is is going to be fretted?
