Sounds great Greg! That is indeed a HUGE bass tone!

IMO a slide guitar solo & with some slide fills would just kill in that song.

I will confess that I doctored the bass tone a bit. There's a "Vintage Channel" plugin in Sonar that is some combination of EQ and compression, and it really fattens the bass up, gives it a lot of body. Then I added an additional EQ with a 1dB/Q=0.5 boost around 150 Hz and a 2dB/Q=0.5 boost around 400Hz.

The Vintage Channel effect adds girth, and then the EQ brings back some definition.
