New Recording

Here is a new Recording I made of Victor Wooten song Sometimes I Laugh off of the What did He Say? album. I recorded this with my old fashion Mbox (the original one, so clunky) going through pro-tools. I used my Spector Rebop which is awesome and my RC-2 Boss Loopstation. Input is very appreciated especially the constructive kind . Thanks everyone.

Do you use your right thumb to pluck like a 3rd finger or just to (closely) mute the upper strings as it appears that your left does not mute at all ?

(This very close position of the right hand could be a bad habit which could affect your fluidity & mobility at higher speed).

Well the first phrase I loop I use my thumb to pluck other than that I am using a floating thumb technique. There are a couple of threads that are about the floating thumb on this site under technique if you wanna know more about it. Im not perfect at it but I have the gist of it. It does looking like my hand is closed in the video but it is the angle of the camera that makes my hand kinda look like a fist. I do kinda curl my ring and pink time to time but I don't use them that much. Some of the other videos have a better angle on my plucking hand. and thank you
